Wildlife Surveys

Marcham Society members have undertaken several surveys of local flora and fauna

  • Waterbird survey along the River Ock
  • Butterfly records are kept by Jim Asher. Jim is the national recorder for the British Butterfly Conservation Society
  • Plants in the Churchyard: A survey of plants in the churchyard and cemetery was carried out in 2003 by Frances Watkins. A copy of this is kept in the Society Archive.
